What is PCB Components Sourcing?

PCB component sourcing involves purchasing the required components needed for assembling onto the printed circuit board.

The components on PCBs vary, and sourcing can be done in multiple ways. Suppliers may purchase the components from authorized and reliable distributors of their choice and deliver them to you upon order. Alternatively, you can recommend a distributor from where the supplier can source the components and deliver them to you. Another option is to source some components yourself while letting another supplier source the remainder.

Component sourcing can be done either locally or internationally. International sourcing usually takes around 5-10 business days, depending on the duration of customs clearance.
